Who I help and why

Good Sense Guide is for people who want technology to make life easier, not more complicated. That includes older people choosing a new phone or tablet, families setting something up for a parent, and small charities getting online on a tight budget.

I have spent many years working alongside charities and community organisations. I have seen how the right technology helps people stay independent, keep in touch and access the services they need, and how often people pay too much or give up because the choices feel overwhelming.

That is why I created Good Sense Guide: to give clear, honest and practical advice that helps you make a confident choice, whatever your budget or experience.

Why I started Good Sense Guide

Most technology websites are written for people who already love gadgets. I wanted to create something different: honest, plain English guides for people who simply want something that works, at a fair price.
